Tayebwa Officiates At The 7th Graduation Ceremony Of Victoria University-First Lady Applauded The University Management For Putting Emphasis On Future-Proofing Of Education System

I represented the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, @JanetMuseveni at the 7th Graduation Ceremony of Victoria University at Kololo Independence Grounds yesterday.

In her speech, the First Lady applauded Victoria University management for putting emphasis on future-proofing of education system through technological innovation and advancement that is reshaping industries, economies as well as the way people live. She explained how skills and knowledge are no longer sufficient to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the future.

In regards to the challenges of a highly competitive job market, Mama Janet called upon the graduands to embrace resilience, growth of mind, lifelong learning, knowledge, integrity, compassion and a life of service to the Almighty God. To bring an end to HIV and Aids, the First Lady, advised the young generation to embrace ‘sexual purity’ and ‘moral uprightness’. Congratulations to all graduates, especially my sister @fsnakazibwe.
