The hearing of the Sodommy case against Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle Center Church and conspiracy to commit homosexuality against nine people resumed today 16th October, 2026 at Mwanga 2 Magistrate's Court in Mengo Kampala.
While appearing before court, the Fifth accused, Alex Wakamala shocked court when he asked his lawyers to help him task Pastor Robert Kayanja to pay him his money he promised to give him after he molested him.
Alex Wakamala also showed a video before court of him and his co-accused asking Pastor Robert Kayanja to pay them their promised money.
After Alex Wakamala showing a video of him and his co-accused asking Pastor Robert Kayanja to pay them their promised money, after allegedly sodomoizing them, he asked his lawyers Ojambo Robert, Bernard Mugenyi, Hamfrey Tumwesigye and David Tuswingire from Ojambo and Company Advocates to issue a notice demanding pay from the man of God.
Wakamala further shocked court when he confirmed that indeed he is the one in the video, asking Pastor Robert Kayanja to give him his money because he had "sodomoized" him.
Wakamala Alex also told the court of Justice Adams Byarugaba that it is not true that he was told what he had to say in court about Pastor Robert Kayanja, and said that whatever he said about the pastor regarding homosexuality was true.
He asked the court to llow the video to be played to end, according to him, court was missing out much information into the video clip if it is halfway plaid.
Waiswa Israel, who is also facing the same charges of conspiracy to commit the crime, rejected the testimony of the police officer who was investigating the, he said the officer in the first place introduced himself as a lawyer, yet he has never been a lawyer.
He also rejected the evidence of Nandutu Cotilda who also told the court that the accused introduced himself as a lawyer.
He also rejected the evidence that he was traveling with a Doctor at Mulago, where they were examining his co-accused to confirm whether they were indeed they were sodomoized.
He further told court that allegations by Pastor Robert Kayanja that he was being accused was not true at all.
According to Waiswa, Pastor Robert Kayanja gave false information to the court.
Waiswa said he had never dealt with anyone in the case, and that some of the accused also knew Kanene Aggrey, who happens to be the go between.
The court adjourned the hearing till 23rd of this month.
