Renowned retired Senior Police Officer Sam Omara has died.
He has been sick for a while and been undergoing medication in Hospital.
His demise has been confirmed by his current boss as Arrow security, Captain Mike Mukula & his son Paul Omara.
"Arrow security systems LTD with deep sorrow announce the death of our Director Operations and deputy CEO SAM OMALLA (RIP) and retired at the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP).He has just passed on in mulago hospital at 7 am after a long struggle with cancer"- Mukula Confirms.
Mukula further extend his deepest condolences to the family and friends and especially the IGP, uganda police force & Arrow security.
He also noted that funeral arrangements will be announced later .
Omara remembered for managing Kampala demonstrations against opposition doyen Kizza Besigye during the walk to work protests.
