The situation is tense in the areas of Ggaba a Kampala suburb, as police battled residents who want to lynch a yet to be identified man who is alleged to have stormed Gaba Early Childhood Development Centre and hacked four pupils to death and injured several others.
The man was arrested by residents who wanted to lynch him but were stopped by the area police which is now engaged in an ongoing battle to calm the angry mob.

The Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire has confirmed the incident, noting that IGP Abbas Byakagaba, is expected to visit the scene shortly.
