In a heartwarming gesture, Wamono George, the aspiring MP for Bungokho Central, donated four electricity poles to Matotowa residents in Nabumali Town Council.
Accordi to Wamono, this initiative aims to bring reliable lighting to the area, addressing a long-standing need Which will transform the community economically.
The residents, who had lost hope after being let down by many politicians, were overjoyed by Wamono George's commitment & pledged to support him in the upcoming elections, recognizing his genuine efforts to improve their lives.

While speaking to this publication, Wamono he noted that this initiative is part of his manifesto and idea even before joining politics.
"As a resident of Nabumali TC, I've done enough community work even before joining active politics. Distribution of poles and making sure power and water is in the community is in my political manifesto, therefore, I will not wait to be in parliament before implicating it" - He noted.
Wamono further explained why he thought of having an idea of lighting up Matotowa.
"Electricity is critical for development. It powers industries, enables technology, improves healthcare, enhances education, and boosts economic growth. Reliable electricity access drives productivity, connectivity, and quality of life, particularly in developing regions where infrastructure gaps hinder progress. Lack of electricity correlates with poverty, limited innovation, and slower social advancement"-Wamono elaborated.
Though he showed a big concern of Bungokho Central lacking a vital MP who can have such programs implicated.
