Keddi Foundation Warns Against Fraudsters Exploiting It's Name

Keddi Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities, continues to make significant contributions in areas such as education, healthcare, mosque and church construction, and other essential community needs.

Founded by philanthropist Keddi Steven Eric Zuluba, who also serves as CEO, the organization is well known for its charitable work particularly in sponsoring Muslim pilgrims. Since its inception, the Keddi Foundation has sponsored over 10,000 Muslims to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca.

However, concerns have recently arisen about fraudulent individuals misusing the name of the Keddi Foundation to deceive the public. These impersonators promise Hajj trips in exchange for money, falsely claiming to represent the organization.

Muyiada Ali, also known as Prince Igwe who is the National Coordinator, addressed journalists about the scam and warned the public to remain vigilant. He emphasized that the Keddi Foundation never asks for money from its beneficiaries and urged people not to fall victim to such deceitful schemes.

“These impersonators are tarnishing the reputation of an organization that genuinely helps people,” he said. “We urge everyone to stay away from anyone claiming to represent the Keddi Foundation in exchange for money.”

As the Namugongo pilgrimage season begins, Muyiada also revealed that the Keddi Foundation is planning to support Christian pilgrims traveling to Namugongo, continuing its mission to assist people of all faiths.
