Counsel Paul Mugoya Wanyoto, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Northern city Division Mbale city and also chairan land board Mbale City has urged youths to engage in sports activities to enhance their talent development, physical fitness and foster unity within their communities.
Speaking with this publication in an exclusive interview , counsel Wanyoto emphasized that sports play a crucial role in personal development and community cohesion. He noted that youths involvement in sports provides an opportunity to engage in productive activities, helping them grow both individually and as members of a wider community.
“As we look to empower our youths, sports provide the perfect platform for them to develop discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills,”Counsel wanyoto said. “Such activities are critical in ensuring the well-being and unity of our communities.”
Counsel Wanyoto also announced plans to launch next Eid football tournament across all villages/wards in Northern city Division In this coming month , aiming to give local youths more opportunities to showcase their talents and stay physically active. He expressed his gratitude to the people of Northern city Division for their strong turnout and support for the matches, commending both players and spectators for their exemplary discipline throughout the events also provide an important platform for young people to reconnect with long-lost friends.

This will allow us to scout talented players who could join our team in future competitions.
