In Bungokho South, the race to unseat incumbent MP Wandwasi Robert has taken a new twist.

𝙒𝙤𝙠𝙪𝙧𝙞 𝙂𝙚𝙤𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙮, one of the NRM parliamentary hopefuls, has officially launched his campaign following successful radio talk show and holding a campaign trail, drawing massive crowds and pledging to restore service delivery in the constituency.

This happened yesterday when Wokuri was warmly welcomed by his jubilant supporters who met him at Mile Six in Busoba Sub county amidst cheers and ululation. They moved along Mbale - Tororo Road to Busiu Town Council and branched off to Angalia Trading Centre in Bunambutye Sub county. His trail continued through the deep villages of Lubaale, Tooma and Muanda Parishes of Bumasikye Sub county and back to Busiu Town Council.

Addressing his supporters at Muanda Trading centre at the launch of NRM Offices, Geofrey promised effective representation, legislation and lobbying for Bungokho South. He assured his supporters that all is set to secure victory in this forthcoming election. "No one should be intimidated or worried about resources because we are prepared this time," he added.

He further added that those who claim to have connections and worked with state house, they should show their works on ground not mere words.

Earlier on, Wokuri Geofrey got a boost after his camp acquired two monster rides from his friends to facilitate his campaign journey to join parliament.

This has set a warning alarm to Bungokho South that change in inevitable this time.
