Amid swirling reports suggesting a political alliance between Buyela Christopher and Rt Hon Rebecca Kadaga, the NRM Vice Chairperson Eastern Region aspirant has come out to firmly deny the allegations, branding them as deliberate propaganda designed to create division within the party.
“I am not a political prostitute. I don’t change goal posts. I stand by my principles and the people who have mentored me,” Buyela asserted through close associates.
For years, Buyela Christopher has been one of the most vocal defenders and digital strategists behind the rise of Speaker Anita Annet Among (AAA). From 2018 to date, he has been a consistent voice across social media and public platforms in support of Among’s leadership, often countering critics and shaping pro-AAA narratives online.
Although he now serves under the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) in a national mobilization and training role, Buyela maintains that his loyalty to Rt Hon Among remains unshaken. “Even if she supports another candidate, I will never use that as an excuse to betray her. I believe the voters know my track record, and they will make the right choice.”
He further emphasized that in politics, relationships transcend temporary alignments. “Our bond with Rt Hon Anita Among is beyond political interests. It’s built on mentorship, values, and a shared vision for the party and our country.”
Buyela has cautioned politicians and bloggers against using his name as a political tool to score points. “Let me not be misused in battles I’m not part of. I have chosen to stand firm, remain clean, and win on the strength of my ideas—not on manufactured alliances.”
With growing grassroots support and a visible digital presence, Buyela remains focused on building unity within the NRM and bringing fresh, issue-based leadership to the CEC Eastern Region—without betrayal, drama, or deals behind closed doors.
