Nyondo Secondary School proudly celebrated a remarkable achievement as their girls’ scouts team emerged overall champions in the recently concluded Mbale District Scouts Competitions at Busiu Secondary School play grounds.
Through outstanding performance in key scouting disciplines such as campcraft, first aid demonstrations, knot-tying, pioneering, and leadership drills, the team displayed exemplary skills, teamwork, and discipline.
The girls were officially crowned district champions and honored with a prestigious trophy and certificate in recognition of their excellence.
Their victory is not only a testament to their commitment and preparation but also a powerful statement about the strength and leadership potential of young women in the scouting movement.
'We are incredibly proud of our girls. They have shown that when given the opportunity, young women can lead, inspire, and achieve at the highest levels,' said the School Headteacher.

Additionally, Waooo, the school also took trophies for Athletics and Girls Volleyball last week.
