Emma Bwayo, the NRM flagbearer for LCV chairperson, has called on voters to heal past divisions and unite for improved service delivery. He made the appeal during a fundraising event held at St. Denis Catholic Church in Lwakhakha, Namisindwa District.
The event brought together several top district leaders, including Amos Masibo, an aspirant for Bubulo East MP; Khalayi Peace, the NRM flagbearer for Woman MP; and Jackson Wakweika, the current LCV Chairperson.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Bwayo, who currently serves as the District Male Youth Councilor expressed deep appreciation to the Christian community for their continued support in both spiritual and development matters. He also thanked the general public for the trust they had shown by voting for him in previous elections.
Looking ahead to the upcoming general elections, Bwayo urged the people of Namisindwa to continue supporting him. He extended an olive branch to his political rivals, calling for unity in support of the NRM party and the development of the district.
“I am grateful for the love and support you have shown me. I urge you to continue trusting me, and I call upon my fellow competitors to put aside our differences and work together for the progress of Namisindwa District,” said Hon. Emma Bwayo.
Khalayi Peace, who also used the occasion to celebrate her 28th birthday, thanked God for the gift of life. She appealed to voters to entrust her with more responsibilities, stating that she has the capacity to effectively serve as a Member of Parliament.
Rev. Fr. Atanas Kikoba, the Parish Priest of Lwakhakha, urged leaders to remain honest and committed to their campaign promises. He prayed for the politicians and gave them his blessings.
