This programme sustains the momentum, and is a continuation of the WAMEA TRADE MISSIONS held in 2023, and 2024 connecting Organised Private Sector & SMEs from West Africa with CounterParts in Kenya, Tanzania, and now coming to Uganda/East Africa for the 3rd time.

Through innovative business linkages and the matchmaking of players developed by the WAMEA process; SMEs established deal values of $6.1m across key sectors via the WAMEA Deal Room Activations in Kenya and Tanzania in November 2024.
Track Record & Success Stories.
Core objectives of the process are to boost regional trade, harness continental value chains; SMEs are supported to find partners, whilst learning more about sought-after goods, and services for exports within Africa, and the global markets. So far this process has led to 2 joint ventures between Nigerian & Kenyan Entrepreneurs, with registered companies established in Kenya through this process.
