Business paralyzed In Mbale City As Thousands Welcome Bungokho Mp Magolo From Nominations


Yesterday afternoon, Business in Mbale was paralyzed as thousands joined Hon. Faith Magolo after his successful nomination, for MP Bungokho North, in Mbale District.


After the official nomination, Magolo addressed the media, expressing deep gratitude to the people of Bungokho North for the overwhelming love, support, and trust they have shown him throughout his 2nd term in Parliament.

“I want to sincerely thank the people of Bungokho North for loving me, supporting me and walking with me in the journey of leadership. The past five years have been about service, and I am proud of the progress we have made together,” he said.


Hon. Magolo reaffirmed his commitment to continue serving the people of Bungokho North with dedication and honesty, emphasizing that his focus in the coming term will be to complete the projects he started, particularly in areas of service, and empowerment of SACCOs and women’s groups across Bungokho North.

“There are projects that I started and have not yet finished. I am not coming with a new manifesto; my goal is to complete what I began.

The people have told me, ‘let her go back,’ and I am confident we shall finish the work we started together,” she added.


He also took a moment to appreciate his  political opponents, calling for a peaceful and respectful campaign period, saying that elections should be about ideas and service rather than division and hatred.

While making the above remarks, he noted that he wasn't contented with the results of the nrm  primary and its tribunal, prompting him to stand as an independent candidate.
