The delegation Feom the ICT Ministry toured the Tilenga Central Processing Facility (CPF) in the Tilenga Industrial Area home to key infrastructure including the CPF, Drilling Support Base, Construction Camp, and Supply Base, all critical to the Tilenga Project.
It should be noted that Over USD 7.5 billion has been invested in Uganda’s oil projects reflecting coordinated leadership and solid progress toward production.
This was disclosed by the Uganda ICT Ministry as they made a visit and tour at the Tilenga Project.

They also inspected flowline construction works designed to transport crude oil from the well pads to the CPF and return water to maintain reservoir pressure.
All pipelines are safely buried two metres underground to ensure environmental protection. With eight northern well pads already connected and southern works underway, the delegation commended the progress and reaffirmed Government’s commitment to the successful delivery of Uganda’s oil and gas projects.
