They gathered to officially flag off the construction of the Siira-Khamoto-Maluku Road, a vital infrastructure project that's been long overdue.
The works on this road are set to kick off soon, and a budget of over 100 million shillings has been approved! This investment will bring much-needed relief to the residents and boost economic growth in the area.
During the event, Hon Wanda took a moment to appreciate the residents for their patience and calm approach. He thanked them for not resorting to strikes despite the poor road conditions, which had been a major challenge for the community. "Your sincerity and patience have paid off," he said.
