HERE IS THE LIST: NRM Sweeps All BUGISU Districts LCV Positions in Landslide Victory

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has registered a commanding political victory across the Bugisu sub-region after sweeping nearly all District Local Council Six (LCV) chairperson positions, consolidating its dominance in Eastern Uganda following the just-concluded local government elections.

From the East to South, voters delivered decisive mandates to NRM flag bearers, with several incumbents falling and political heavyweights returning to office in races that reflected shifting loyalties, internal party contests, and the growing influence of grassroots mobilization.

 Mbale District – Tonny Wamagale (NRM)

 Namisindwa District – Emma Bwayo (NRM)

 Bududa District – Geoffrey Natubu (NRM)

 Sironko District – Alex Nabende Gugga (NRM)

 Bulambuli District – Simon Peter Wananzofu (NRM)

 Manafwa District – Kigayi Hosea Kimono (Independent, NRM-leaning)
