Mbale District RDC Sounds Alarm on Poor Performance


In a stern warning, Mbale District RDC Mr Bayole Stanley has cautioned lazy civil servants, including sub county chiefs, teachers, and health workers, to shape up or face consequences. During a joint review meeting with stakeholders and Cordaid, the RDC emphasized that Ugandans are fed up with poor service delivery .


The meeting, held in Maluku, aimed to review performance in production, natural resources, and other services. The RDC's team, including assistant RDCs and GISOs, will conduct close monitoring and supervision of government institutions

The RDC also warned 

Sub county chiefs who only report to work once a month, teachers who skip lessons, affecting learners ,health workers who demand bribes from patients, neglecting pregnant mothers in need .

The RDC urged all civil servants to get back to work, as campaigns are over and it's time for normalcy . The meeting was attended by CAO, RDC, community development officer, heads of department, and sub county chiefs.
