The Head teacher of Nyondo Secondary School, Mr.Dismas Samuel Wandulu urged parents to consider financial ability while choosing the best school for their children.
Wandulu made a call while giving the current academic status of the school.
While speaking to Journalists at Nyondo SS, Wandulu noted that many parents make mistakes in school selection.
"All of us want good schools but at times parents make it an overdrive by choosing very expensive schools they cant afford. At times they do this due to pressure from friends, relatives or their children, and this has led to fees default or even school dropping out of the children"-Wandulu.
He further said other parents have much negativity on Government schools, yet they are pocket friendly and with much better standards.
"Take an example, Nyondo Secondary School is a Government aided facility, with a fully equipped library, computer and science laboratory, has qualified Arts and Science Teachers. This has enabled us have better results than other expensive schools in Bugisu and Eastern Uganda at large"- Wandulu.
Wandulu thanked parents for entrusting them.

It is a church founded school under Tororo Diocese, Promoting mostly the girl child in Bugisu and the ehole nation at large.
Fees affordable and the school has the best standard in the region.
About the recent "O" level results:-
313 students sat for UCE in 2025, of which, 158 girls & 155 boys.
On average, the school performed best because most of the students passed especially with Bs and few As.
According to the Headquarters, Mr Wandulu Dismus, the best five students will be offered full bursary at A level.
The dmission capacity this year is 600 S1 as per allocation by Ministry of Education and sports.
The Bord of Governor Nyondo SS on Friday last week resolved to start construction of three storeyed multipurpose block to absorb the increasing numbet of over 2600 learners.

The school is known for excellency in sports and academics, produced best UACE students on govt sponsorship despite being a rural USE govt aided school.
