Investigative: Commodity prices at Entebbe Airport 4 time higher than any other shopping center in uganda.

Our  investigative team have reveled to us that the most expensive kiosks are at Entebbe International Airport.

Since last week, our team has been on ground to spot loopholes at the international Airport of Uganda.

Apart from corruption, poor customer care and cheating of clients by staff members at the Airport, Entebbe Airport kiosks sell commodities at a very high price

There prices are almost 4 times higher than any other shopping center in the country.

Our investigative journalist, Musamali Arnold, has told us that all kiosks at the airport dealing in eatable, stationary etc set up prices that give them abnormal profits.

A 300ml soda at the kiosk costs around 5,000/- -7,000/-, a cup cake which costs 1500/- in a nearby supermarket in Entebbe, goes for 5,000/- at the kiosks.

Normal photocopying is at 5,000/- per page in the kiosks.

A normal mask is 1,000/- in kitoro or any outlet in Entebbe but it will cost you 4,000/- to grab one from the kiosks at the Airport.

A chapati is at 5,000/-.

Mineral water small size is at 5,000/-, a glass of juice is at 15000/- to 20,000/-.

A plate of food at any restaurant at the airport  ranges from 30,000/- to 50,000/-.

Exchange rate of any currency at the airport is totally different from any other outlet in uganda, Arnold changed his 100$, expecting to get 370,000/- to his surprise, he was given 355,000/-.

One also pays 3,000/- or buys a drink from the kiosks to  view his or her relative set off or land at the airport.

The price of an Airport Taxi at the Airport is extremely very expensive.
