''Include us in the Gov't economic empowerment programs"-Muslim leaders to ONC's Namyalo.

This afternoon, the ONC boss Hajjat Uzeiye Hadijah Namyalo met and held talks with Imams and elders of the Muslim community in the Kampala region at the ONC offices in Kyambogo.

Hajjat Hadijjah invited the Muslim leaders purposely extend an invitation for Dua prayers being organized by the ONC on the 27th of March, 2024 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds where H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be the Chief Guest.

In the course of the meeting, the Imams raised several issues which included the need for them to be included in the office's economic empowerment program.

Giving an example of herself, Hadijah advised the Muslim leaders to stop lamenting that the NRM government doesn't love them and encouraged them to align themselves with the government to be identified and also benefit from government programs. She also donated Sewing Machines to two of them.
