ED Kisaka-"Kampala City skyline is positively changing due to the magnificent work of the private sector"

The KCCA Executive Director has Applauded the development in Kampala city by private investors.

The most recent addition is the Nakivubo War memorial stadium in Kisenyi which was commissioned by. H.E the President  Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on 25th April 2024.

According to Kisaka, the private investors have played a big role in changing the face of the city, ie:- erecting structures which are on standard, stadiums, etc.



While giving his remarks during the official opening of the stadium, President M7 also commended Hajji Hammis Kiggundu the developer saying he is a man of great vision and foresight.

He also said the smart policies of NRM are bearing fruit in allowing the private sector to flourish. The stadium now joins the magnificent judiciary buildings comprising the court of Appeal and Supreme Court which were commissioned by the President in April 2024. 

The Nakivubo ceremony was attended by the Minister for Kampala, Hajjati Minsa Kabanda, the Minister of state for Education and sports, Peter Ogwang, and the Executive Director Kampala City, Dorothy Kisaka. Also in attendance was the Mayor Uhuru of Central Division and the Resident City Commissioner Amina Lukanga and the stadium staff.
