Yesterday, 30th April 2024, Rotary International recognised the contributions of KCCA to humanity in their work in education, public health and other community works. The recognition award was presented by the Country Chairman of Rotary D9214, Ismael Mukasa at a gathering of KCCA Senior Management Team on Tuesday 30th April 2024 at the KCCA Employment Bureau on Ssezibwa Road in Kampala.
In citation for the award, Rotarian Peter Kimbowa, the Past Assistant Governor said that the work KCCA is championing in the city demonstrates CARE for humanity and thanked the KCCA Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka in leading the team
The event was witnessed by Rotary Governor Peace Taremwa and Rotary Governor, URZ Herzog from Switzerland.
Kisaka thanked Rotary International saying, "I am delighted and humbled that our contribution as KCCA team have been recognised which calls upon us to do even more in caring for humanity and building a Smart City"
