Landslides Wreak Havoc: Sigwa Metal Ladders Destroyed in Butandiga, Severing Critical Routes.

Recent landslides triggered by heavy rainfall ravaged the Sigwa Metallic ladders in Butandiga Sub-County, Sironko District in Eastern Uganda.

These ladders, integral pathways for students, tourists, and locals accessing schools, markets, hospitals, and other vital locations, now lie in ruins, disrupting essential travel routes.

The ladders serve appropriately 140 Villages in Butandiga.

According to James Wangota, a teacher at Butandiga primary school, Over 400 pupils have missed exams due to the breakdown of the pathway
