This morning, Mafabi Asha Nabulo the reigning & undisputed NRM flag bearer for Sironko District Woman Member of Parliament has been nominated unopposed to context for the 2026 Sironko Woman MP seat.
According to information gathered, it has been revealed that her opponent, Minister Nambozo Florence, the Karamoja State Minister failed to show interest in the nrm primaries by picking nomination forms from the NRM EC offices.

Nabulo is the current Woman mp in Sironko District after winning the election in 2021 on an independent ticket.
Though it has been discovered that Nambozo deliberately refused to submit in her interest to run under the NRM party, alleging that the primaries won't be free and fair.
According sources, Nambozo is a great rival to Hajji Mafabi Lumolo, the biological father to her opponent Aisha Mafabi Lumolo.
It has been noted that Hajji Lumolo’s influence in Sironko Woman MP seat could lead to a new change in 2026.
Lumolo was recently elected the new Sironko NRM district boss amidst a huge competition between minister Nambozo and him.
The tight race forced Nambozo to chicken out of the race, which led to Lumolo’s win as unopposed.
Insiders say, Nambozo is currently scared to contest on an NRM ticket siting huge mobilization from Lumolo to his daughter, daughter, Aisha Lumolo.
