Successful Engineer & youthful Businessman, Woshale David, has officially joined the race for the Bungokho South Member of Parliament seat after expressing interest to contest under the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket.
Woshale picked his nomination forms on Thursday from the NRM Electoral Commission offices in Kampala, joining a growing list of aspirants ahead of the party primaries slated for July 16, 2025.

While addressing journalists shortly after the picking the forms, Woshale pledged to offer what she described as "inclusive and people-centered leadership."
He emphasized her commitment to engaging with all communities across the city to ensure their voices are heard and their needs addressed.
"I have come so we move together—village to village, parish to parish, and ghetto to ghetto—to ensure we win this election, have a strong voice in Parliament, and lobby for the transformation of Bungokho south," He said.
Woshale also made a bold appeal to his competitors to step aside, stating that she is the most capable candidate to solve the challenges facing the people of Bungokho South.
Branding himself as a youth brand, Woshale noted that he will focus on Youth empowerment, which he said is all is about equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to shape their futures and communities.
"It involves fostering critical thinking, leadership, and agency through education, mentorship, and access to resources. Programs often focus on areas like entrepreneurship, civic engagement, or personal development, tailored to address challenges like unemployment, mental health, or social exclusion"- He said
The NRM primaries are expected to be highly competitive as various hopefuls vie for the party’s endorsement ahead of the 2026 general elections.
