Ministe Nambozo Denies Petitioning Rival Aisha Lumolo Before EC Over Qualifications, Calls it Cheap Politics & Propaganda

The Sironko District Woman Member Of Parliament, As Well As The State Minister For Karamoja, Hon. Florence Nambozo Wamala Has Refuted allegations Of Petitioning Her Rival Aisha Lumolo Nabulo Before The Electoral Commission.

According To Minister Nambozo, the circulating document indicating that the petition was withdrawn doesn't have her name, therefore noting that the race has other candidates who could probably have done it.

It should be noted that yesterday, we published a story alleging that Minister Nambozo had withdrawn the petition from the EC.

While in conversation with the Minister, she said all the circulating news of her withdrawing the petition was propaganda, aiming at creating sympathy to her opponent.

"Ive never petition Aisha, I am not even aware of the withdraw. Take a look at the document, it doesn’t have my name. My opponents always use my name in a negative way to gain sympathy. But my voters are wise. 15th January isn't far, let us be peaceful and we shall see the winner"-Nambozo.

Nambozo is in a very tight race with the NRM flagbearer, Aisha Lumolo Nabulo Mafabi, the daughter to Sironko District NRM boss, Hajji Mafabi Lumolo.
The race also has other 4 candidate moving to eliminate the minister from the August House.
