Mbale City Woman MP Wanyoto Hosts Iftar Dinner For The Muslims Community ahead of Idd Celebrations


Last evening the Mbale city Moslem community was hosted by the Mbale city woman representative in Parliament for the Iftar Dinner in Maluku.

Hon. Wanyoto told Moslem congregants that it's God's grace she is the area representative in Parliament.

She said last year's  Eid-Mubarak prayers enabled her sail through to Parliament in the just concluded Elections.

This therefore, prompted me to hold this year's Iftar Dinner during Ramadan to thank the Almighty God for this success." Wanyoto said.

In quest for unity in this sub-region and the city, Wanyoto invited area representatives in Parliament to grace this occasion, Wanyoto said; I invited Hon. Karim Masaba who sent his apologises for he is away on other official duty in the Middle East, Hon. Umar Nangoli is on his way to join us.

In the spirit of continued unity and love, Hon. Wanyoto applauded Women of Mbale of Mbale City for embracing the just concluded International Women’s Day celebrations in Kololo recently.

Following just concluded general elections, that saw NRM presidential party flag bearer, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his cadres sweeping with high numbers of excellence thus this has prompted president to appreciate Mbale City for the maximum support towards this achievement.

On the speakership bid, Wanyoto said through Mbale City voters will and the official pronouncement on house 49 in Maluku-Mbale, Hon. Wanyoto wrote to the president expressing her interest in speakership thus awaits the invitation in Kyankwazi by president to decide on the speakership fate by the NRM party parliamentary Caucas.

 Hon. Wanyoto added that iam not going to ashame you, I know the rules of Procedure, iam an advocate of the court of Judicature, a diplomat, ready to serve on the speakership seat.
