"79 KCCA UPE schools are working hard to ensure the girl child is well looked after"- ED Dr Kisaka Dorothy.


The ABSA  Kampala run for the girl child was flagged off on Sunday morning, 28th May 2023 by the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director, Dorothy Kisaka. 



The 21km run around the seven Hills of Kampala is fundraising to keep the girl child in school according to the organizing committee. 


While speaking to media before the flag off, Dr. Kisaka said the KCCA 79 UPE schools are working hard to ensure the girl child is well looked after. 



She sighted Kitante Primary School and Kamwokya KCCA schools, which have over 2000 pupils as schools that need more support.
