Keddi Foundation Donates $20,000, 10M Cash & 4 M for Running Kits Toward The Kabaka's Birthday Run Event.

Keddi Foundation today, 6th April 2024  embarked on a meaningful journey to the palace of Kabaka of Buganda, to make their contribution towards the Kabaka's Birthday Run.

Keddi Foundation contributed $20,000, 10m Cash, and also procured running kits worth four Million (4) Shillings.

The contribution was received by the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga. 

This year's run is dedicated to combating HIV/AIDS.

While making his remarks, Dr. Keddi Steven, thanked the kingdom of Buganda for such a great initiative, aimed at saving human lives.

"Our commitment doesn't stop her! We proudly pledge to stand alongside the Buganda kingdom in the fight against HIV and to support initiatives uplifting the girl child, fostering employment opportunities, and more"-Keddi noted.

He further said that at Keddi Foundation, 's mission is to transcend boundaries. 

"We're dedicated to serving humanity in various sectors including relief and disaster management, water and sanitation, and beyond. Together, let's make a difference"-Keddi.

The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga thanked the Keddi Foundation for the great contribution towards the Kabaka's birthday run.

"We are looking forward to working with people like you, I am happy this foundation is full of young ladies and gents, you are the real people we are getting, go out there and tell people to test for HIV" - Katukiro. 

The Kabaka's birthday run will take place tomorrow, 7th April 2026 at exactly 6am.
