Busulani subcounty NRM conference has today the 15th June 2025 endorsed Julius Nakiyi as their sole candidate for the NRM MP Flag for Budadiri East. The endorsement follows a meeting of NRM village chairpersons, flag bearers, councilors, parish and subcounty league leaders and opinion leaders convened at Promise Garden.
The 200 member strong conference endorsed Nakiyi following a motion moved by Elder Mubarak Wolyana from Bunakirima.
Members resolved that they need to go into the general election with one unified voice. Notable speakers included Mr Badru Wagunya and Lc 3 chairperson Mr Gidudu John attended as an observer on invitation.
The meeting was addressed by Mr Sam mafabi NRM secretary General for sironko who paid glowing to Nakiyi.
Other speakers included Ms Rhonda Nadunga the Secretary for publicity sironko district and Ms Wobyanga Sylvia of the Women league.
