The Member of Parliament for Bubulo East constituency in Namisindwa district, John Musila, today Friday organized a study tour for a delegation of councillors to various locations, including Sip Falls, a dairy farm, Mt. Elgon National Park, and Kapchrowa athletic training stadium among others.
According to Musila, the purpose of the tour was to change the mindset of the councillors and equip them with practical knowledge to boost their household income and contribute to the development of Namisindwa.
He encouraged the councillors to share their experiences with their colleagues who did not participate in the tour and with the local community.
The study tour was fully sponsored by MP Musila. Other officials who joined the councillors on the tour included LCV Chairperson Namisindwa, Jackson Wakwaika, the Mayor of Bumbo Town Council, the Town Clerk of Bumbo, and parish chiefs, among others.
The tour aimed to expose the councillors to best practices and innovative ideas that could be replicated in their own district to drive development and growth.
