ICT PS Dr. Zawedde Cradits MultiChoice Uganda For The Initiative Of strategic media & communications training for Government Communications Officers

The permanent Secretary at the Ministry of ICT, Dr. Amina Zawedde has credited  MultiChoice Uganda (Dst) foor the initiative of strategic media & communications training for Government communications Officers.

The Ministry of Information technology & National guidance, in partnership with MultiChoice Uganda (#DStvUganda), kicked off a strategic media and communications training for Government Communications Officers at innovation hubug Nakawa today.

According to organizers, the week-long programme will equip over 200 government spokespersons with key skills in crisis communication, digital storytelling, and platformization to ensure impactful and credible public engagement in today’s digital-first world.

While addressing the first cohort, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of ICT, Dr. Amina Zawedde emphasized the importance of empowering government communicators

“It is critical that our government spokespersons are equipped with the right skills to package information and communicate effectively—especially through emerging digital platforms.” Dr. Zawedde.

She further thanked MultiChoice for the great indicative.

“I commend industry players such as MultiChoice Uganda, who have taken an extra step to partner with the Ministry of ICT to empower Government Communications Officers and Public Relations Officers.
