Today, the Resident City Commissioner (RCC) of Fort Portal, Mr. Bayole Stanley, officiated as Chief Guest at a special event held at King of Kings College, a Christian-based institution in Fort Portal City.
In his keynote address, Mr. Bayole advised parents to develop strong friendships with their children in order to guide them with discipline, dressing code and instill values of respect. “A child without discipline has no value,” he emphasized, urging parents to invest in their children, in order to change their homes, clans, and villages by utilizing the peaceful environment provided by the current government.
The event also saw recognition of outstanding educators. Close to 15 best performing teachers for both O-Level and A-Level in 2024 were awarded with gifts and cash prizes: UGX 200,000, UGX 300,000, and UGX 400,000 respectively, in appreciation of their dedication and excellence in service. The college has the population of 1300 learners.
