Miriam Mukhaye wins the NRM primary Petition, opponent Aisha vows to bounce back as an independent candidate

Mbale District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Miriam Mukhaye is in jubilations after winning the party election Petition, which was filed by her opponent Aisha Lunyolo.

What Aisha had to say in her WhatsApp platform before she changed her minds to run as an independent candidate 

Greetings, my people of Mbale District.

Thank you for the journey. You have moved with me twice in pursuit of Woman MP Mbale District, whose outcome has not been in our favor. Your love towards me has not been vain as we all remain alive and continue to serve. 

Yesterday, our petition was dismissed based on the NRM tribunal findings, hence ruling. That is not the end of life.

As members of NRM, we respect that decision.

We have a journey to support NRM, especially President Museveni, in the forthcoming elections.

I now call upon and request our supporters to rally behind President Museveni and all NRM Flag bearers as the next elections come 2031 are not far.

We shall show up again for the same campaigns.
