𝘔𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘦: Hon. Miriam Mukhaye, the Mbale District Woman Member of Parliament and NRM flag bearer, officially launched her campaign at Epi Centre in Mbale Town Council (formerly Busoba Sub County).

She began her campaign with Town Hall meetings that brought together local leaders, NRM structures and community representatives, who warmly welcomed her and pledged their continued support. The event was marked by discipline, unity and enthusiasm as leaders celebrated their MP’s achievements and reaffirmed their commitment to her re-election.

In her remarks, Hon. Mukhaye expressed deep gratitude to the people of Mbale Town Council for their overwhelming support during the NRM party primaries, where she won decisively. She thanked the team for their dedication and appealed for continued unity and cooperation ahead of the general elections.

She called on voters to support all NRM flag bearers, starting with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and reaffirmed her commitment to serve with integrity, transparency and dedication to the people of Mbale District.

“𝘔𝘺 𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴,” Hon. Mukhaye emphasized.

In the health sector, she highlighted her efforts in lobbying for hospital beds, improving infrastructure in health centres, supporting construction new maternity wards and supporting expectant mothers with delivery kits such as basins.

She proudly announced that she has already procured a state-of-the-art ambulance to strengthen emergency response and improve access to quality health care services across the district.

In education, she recounted her initiatives in feeding candidates, awarding outstanding students—especially the girl child and issuing success cards to inspire academic excellence.

Looking ahead, Hon. Mukhaye pledged to expand her focus to 𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 in her next term. She further committed to holding biannual meetings with local leaders to share ideas, review progress and enhance effective representation.

Local leaders and residents commended Hon. Mukhaye for her proven leadership and visible impact, pledging to mobilize even greater support to ensure her victory in the forthcoming elections.

Youth leaders also applauded her dynamic leadership and promised to rally the youth across the district to back her re-election bid.
