Hon. Wokuri Geofrey officially launched his campaign bid from Bumaena Parish in Bushiende Sub County, marking the beginning of an energetic journey toward the 2026 general elections.
He was warmly welcomed by supporters, local leaders and residents from different villages who gathered in large numbers to show their solidarity. The jubilant supporters were heard chanting songs of praise and sharing heartfelt testimonies of Hon. Wokuri’s good leadership and service to the people.
Leading the team was the Sub County NRM Chairman, Mr. Waburoko Sam, who thanked Hon. Wokuri for his consistent support toward community initiatives and government programs. He used the occasion to sensitize residents about the outstanding qualities of Hon. Wokuri and encouraged them to vote for NRM flag bearers at all levels starting with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
In his address, Hon. Wokuri expressed deep gratitude to the people for their overwhelming support during the party primaries and appealed for continued trust and unity as the team heads into the general elections. He pledged to prioritize effective representation and community development once elected.

The day’s activities concluded successfully in Ikyenga Village, after canvassing massive support across Bumaena and Isango Parishes.
