Hon. Sasaga’s campaign in Busate Parish, Bukiise, suffered an embarrassing setback after his campaign truck got stuck on the muddy, potholed Salalira–Nasululu road, failing to reach the planned rally venue.
The incident has reignited public frustration over the very infrastructure challenges residents say Hon. Sasaga have been ignored throughout his term in office.
Residents watched as the campaign convoy stalled on the same road they use daily, describing the moment as a clear reflection of long-standing neglect and poor service delivery.
Many questioned how a leader seeking another term could be incapacitated by a road that has remained in poor condition since he assumed office.

In a striking contrast, Eng. Julius Nakiyi, the NRM Flag Bearer for Budadiri East, is the only one always seen engaging locals and assisting with temporary measures to ease such situations and making such roads motorable.
To many residents, such moments have always symbolized the difference between promises and practical leadership—one trapped by past failures, the other demonstrating hands-on problem-solving even before assuming office.
