The Office of the Member of Parliament–elect for Budadiri East, Hon. Eng. Julius Nakiyi, wishes to officially notify the people and leadership of Kikobero Subcounty of a landmark event marking the fulfillment of a key campaign commitment.
On Monday, 16th February 2026, Hon. Eng. Nakiyi Julius will visit Kikobero Subcounty to formally purchase and immediately hand over land for subcounty use, as pledged during the election campaign. The land has already been identified and agreed upon by the subcounty leadership, ensuring a smooth and transparent transfer for the benefit of the community.
The handover will take place during a public ceremony and rally at Kapanga Grounds, starting at 2:00 PM. The event will bring together LC I, LC II and LC III Chairpersons, Subcounty and District Councillors (both elected and incumbent), NRM leaders at all levels, and residents of Kikobero, who will officially receive the land and relevant transfer documents.
This action reaffirms Hon. Nakiyi Julius’s results-oriented leadership, demonstrating his resolve to translate promises into action and to deliver meaningful development milestones within the first two years of his service to the people of Budadiri East.
