Members of the incoming Bugisu Parliamentary Caucus today convened at the Parliamentary Building for a high-level meeting aimed at deliberating on key issues affecting the Bugisu Subregion and developing a common strategy to advance its collective interests.
The gathering underscored a shared commitment among leaders to foster unity, coordinated action, and a stronger voice for Bugisu in national affairs.
The meeting was chaired by Hon. Gerald D. Nangoli and brought together Hon. Sarah Wekomba, Hon. Wamakuyu Mudimi, Hon. Julius Nakiyi, Hon. Wanyoto Godfrey, Hon. Isaac Modoi, Hon. Lydia Wanyoto, Hon. Umar Nangoli, Hon. Miriam Mukhaye, Hon. Wabusani Stephen, Hon. Chris Matembu, Hon. Peace Khalayi, Hon. Asha Nabulo, Hon. Shafiga Wanyenya, Hon. Mayi Siuma, Hon. Biara Emmanuel, and Hon. Nanzala Metrine.
Discussions focused on strengthening internal cohesion within the caucus, identifying priority development areas for the subregion, and establishing a unified approach to advocacy and resource mobilization.
