EALA Mp Aspirant - Rachael Kakungulu's Message For Easter Season

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

Dear beloved Christians,

As we gather to commemorate the profound sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on this Good Friday, I, Rachael Kakungulu, extend my warmest and most heartfelt wishes to you all.

Today, we reflect on the boundless love of God, who gave His only Son to save us from our sins. We remember the agony of the cross, the darkness that enveloped the earth, and the triumphant cry of "It is finished!" (John 19:30).

May the sacrifice of Jesus Christ fill your hearts with hope, peace, and joy. May we be reminded of His unwavering love, His compassion, and His promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

Let us meditate on the words of Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed."

May this day of remembrance renew our spirits, strengthen our faith, and deepen our connection with God. May we strive to live our lives as a reflection of Christ's love, spreading hope, kindness, and forgiveness to all those around us.

"He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." - 1 Peter 2:24

Wishing you a blessed Good Friday, filled with spiritual renewal and a deeper connection with God.

Rachael Kakungulu (EALA MP ASPIRANT)
