As Uganda joins the rest of the world in commemorating International Labour Day today, Hon. Wakooli Godfrey Matembu, the Member of Parliament for Butiru County, has issued a heartfelt message of appreciation to the hardworking citizens of his constituency, the greater Manafwa District, and the entire nation.
In a vibrant Labour Day flyer released on this occasion, Hon. Matembu highlighted the critical role played by workers in driving national development.
He described Ugandan workers as “the backbone of our progress and the foundation of a brighter future,” acknowledging their dedication, resilience, and daily contributions to building stronger communities.The message reads in part:

Hon.
