Leader of opposition in Parliament Rt. Hon. Mathias Mpuuga together with other Opposition legislators, have arrived at Kigo Prison to visit jailed MPs Hon. Ssegirinya Muhamad and Hon. Allan Ssewanyana Bwino
Yesterday marked exactly a year since the two Kawempe North and Makindye West MPs were arrested and incarcerated on baseless allegations of being engineers of the panga welding men that caused damaged and killed hundreds of civilians in Greater Masaka last year.
To date, the state and the Judiciary have resorted Ping-Pong games to deny equity and fairness not only to the two legislators but also their constituents who have lived for 12months without their voice heard on floor of Parliament.
Ssewannyana and Ssegirinya join the thousand of innocent Ugandans moreso the youths who have been detained in various places of confinements.
