Uganda Sent 71 Delegates To the United States For The Just Concluded United Nations (UN) General Assembly In the USA.

This brought mixed reactions from the public and politicians on why Uganda sent a huge delegation at the expense of taxpayer's money.

Those who attended the Assembly include:- Vice President, HE Rt. Major Jessica Alupo, Prime Minister Nabbaja Robinnah, Minister for General Duties, Justine Kasule Lumumba, Ambassador Adonia Ayebare, Foreign Minister Jeje Odongo, Minister of Health, Dr. Ruth Aceng, and other 60 delegates.

HOW 2 BILLION SHILLINGS WAS SPENT ON THE 71 DELEGATES:

Air Ticket Business Class: $5,000=18,500,000/-x 71= 1,313,500,000

Accommodation in USA: $1,500 = 5,550,000/- x 71=    394,050,000.


Upkeep:    $1000 =     3,700,000/- x 71=   262,700,000
