Tik-Toker Mutooro Lands Radio Job At Radio 4.


All looks to be moving on we'll for a young talented kateregga Nicholas, locally known as Mutooro on TikTok after scooping a radio Job at Radio 4.


According to Adam Kungu, the general manager at the Ntinda-based station, Mutoro is among the new radio presenters starting next week.

It is rumored that the station is currently recruiting new workers after re-branding. 


The station recently announced changes in presenters and programming with the aim of remaining one of the best in the country. 


He will be doing the evening show from 4pm to 7pm alongside Jaqi Deweyi and Byrons Meijor. 


Mutooro, a popular Tik Toker and internet personality, gained popularity in 2021 when his short video on Tik Tok  playing a character from the Tooro area showing all traits of people from the region went viral. 


Kungu says Mutooro is the perfect person they were looking for to bring the humour highly needed in their evening show.


"He is a perfect fit. His unbeatable humour and rare comic character are exactly what our listeners have missed for long. We are excited to have him here," Kungu says.


He is one of the many media personalities who were carefully selected and brought on board at Radio 4. 


The presenters who include Dj Janny P, Yusuf Baliluno, comedian Nicole Mutooro, Abdul Nsereko, Byrons Meijor, DJ 16, Jaqi Deweyi, Tinah Nangonzi, Abdallah Walusimbi, Sharon Kaka, among others possess experience spanning years in the industry and have already brought a new life to the station.


The new programming, which also includes Omuzira Fumbe Lubwama Vincent (Formerly on Top Radio), starts this Monday, September 4, at 5 am.


Radio 4 is owned by Bivulu promoter and is well-known Businessman Balaam Barugahare.
