Bukedea Comprehensive,Amus to host FEASSSA Games.



Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus college  have been voted and confirmed as hosts for the forthcoming Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) games.


The decision was arrived at during the pre-AGM EXCO meeting that convened on Friday October 13th 2023 at USSSA offices in Kampala.


The meeting  was chaired by the organizer’s Federation of Uganda Secondary School Sports Association(USSSA) and the East Africa Secondary School Sports Association(FEASSSA) President Mugisha Justus.



This followed submissions from different schools from  across the East African region, in a tight race that saw Bukedea Comprehensive, which is owned by Speaker Anita Among, and Amus College voted hosts the prestigious sports competition.


The decision taken by FEASSSA Executive that convened in Rwanda during the this year’s games held in Huye  granted Uganda chance to express interest, and bid to host of the 2024 East Africa Schools games after the completion of the 2023 edition.


Jinja SSS and Jinja College were the first to submit their bid under Busoga Region but, will now now wait for another year as the Bukedea joint bid of Bukedea Comprehensive and Amus College convinced USSSA and FEASSSA inspection team.


Uganda is the overall champion of the games after emerging victorious in Rwanda.

Over a period of time there has been  a. increase in number of schools that have shown interest to participate in USSSA and FEASSA organized tournaments.


Participation is open to all registered Secondary Schools and Students within the age bracket of 14 – 20years old.

USSSA organize the games in two categories; Ball games I and Ball games II which all qualify for FEASSSA tournament.

2 – BALL GAMES II

Handball (B + G)

Rugby 7s (Boys))

FOOTBALL BOYS (Copa Coca Cola)

SWIMMING Championship.
