The President accompanied by the First Daughter, Mrs. Natasha Karugire and top government officials has toured the city roads, Speke Resort Munyonyo and Entebbe airport facility ahead of the Nam Summit
The city tour included Mukwano Road, the Clock Tower Interchange, Kampala-Gaba Road, Wavamunno Road, Salama Road & the Busabala Interchange, Speke Resort Munyonyo and Entebbe International Airport.
He was received at the Clock Tower by the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, Minister Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, Ms. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye, Minister of State Hon. Musa Ecweru, and the KCCA Executive Director Ms. Dorothy Kisaka.
This tour showcased the determination of the government to enhance the efficiency and quality of vital infrastructure services. At Speke Resort Munyonyo, the President inspected the modern multipurpose Convention Center which has the high-end conference meeting rooms, and a 4,000-seater auditorium.
