"Mwenda Has No Moral Authority To Condemn The Speaker On Corruption Alligations, Yet His Sister Muhanga Stole over 10bn" - Arnold Freeman Musamali

Recently, Veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda has been busy making unnecessary statements against the speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Anita Among, most especially about the corruption scandal.

As a senior journalist, with more than 15 years of experience, Mwenda has no moral authority to speak about corruption, yet his own biological sister, Margaret Muhanga embezzled billions of shillings 8 years ago and all he did was to shield the sister.

Such a person with double standards can't Condemn any corrupt official in Government, it looks like all is well when a Westerner is caught in a corruption scandal, which is an abomination for other regions. 
Has Mwenda ever condemned the thuggery by Minister Jim Muhwezi, Sam Kutesa, his brother in the Army, and others? 
The answer is No!! 

The 2nd issue is, that Mwenda is an LGBTQ advocate, who is fighting to see that Uganda legalizes Homosexuality, therefore he can never sideline with Among, who pushed for the signing of the Ant-Homosexuality law 2023.

What you need to Know:

Andrew Mwenda's sister stole Government land, belonging to UBC, it is on record that Muhanga told the public that she Sold Cows and Goats to Raise Shs10.2bn to buy UBC land.

Qn. How many cows and goats will be sold for any individual to raise all that amount? 

Margaret Muhanga, By then, then MP of Burahya County in Kabarole district shocked Ugandans when she told colleagues in a parliamentary committee that she sold goats and cows to raise Shs10.2billion which she used to purchase 23.1 acres of UBC land in Bugolobi a Kampala suburb.

The development reflected when Budadiri West MP, Nandala Mafabi asked her the source of money.

What was the source of the money? Mafabi asked; “Cows, goats, and everything,” Muhanga boldly replied.

As far as I understand and remember, in 2014, Ms Muhanga bought 23 acres of land belonging to Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC).

UBC sold the 23.1-acre piece of land in the Kampala suburb of Bugolobi to a firm called Haba Group at Shs11.5 billion.

But after three months, Haba group sold the land to another firm at Shs22 billion without completing the payment within the date agreed upon with UBC.

UBC’s then Managing Director consequently terminated the sale agreement and the matter was taken to court.

The Court directed that the land be sold to the highest bidder after UBC failed to refund the money to Haba Group within the 60 days that were stipulated.

Margaret Muhanga, who was then the Kabarole Woman MP, is reported to have bought the land at Shs10.2 billion.

Upon knowing that MP Muhanga sold goats and cows to raise Shs10.2bn, Ugandans on Twitter trolled the legislator under the hashtag

 #HowMuhangaGot10Bn.

Where was Andrew Mwenda to make statements about her sister ? 

For the starters, Mwenda was in a better position by then to expose his sister, since he was still an active journalist, who owned a huge popular magazine, know as The Independent. 

All he did was to shield the sister by showing the public less than 100 goats at his farm, claiming that those were the goats the sister was taking about.
