"I regret receiving these Karamoja iron sheets"- Minister Lugoloobi as he decried the damage to his 40-year reputation following allegations that he misappropriated 600 iron sheets 

The State Minister for Finance and Economic Planning, Amos Lugoloobi, has decried the damage to his 40-year reputation following allegations that he misappropriated 600 iron sheets meant for vulnerable people in Karamoja.

Lugoloobi made this statement while appearing before Lady Justice Jane Okuo Kajuga for the third consecutive day, as he continued his defense after being found with a case to answer regarding charges of dealing with suspect property.

Today was Lugoloobi's Last day for him to present his testimony to court. 

Lugolobi assured court that the media excessively wrote negativity and displayed an animal roofed structure, which they claimed was part of the Karamoja sheets.

"I did not use the Karamoja Iron sheets to roof my animals structures as it was alleged in the media, I was not given chance to defrend myself in the media because this called for an arrest"-Lugoloobi.

He further noted that he returned all the iron sheets he received as directed by President M7, though he get surprised to see that court focused on a few individuals yet several government officials received the iron sheets.
