Leaders from Zesui and Bukyambi sub-counties in Budadiri East, Sironko District, joined MP hopeful Nakiyi over the weekend as he officially launched his campaign in the two sub-counties.
Magomu Bosco, the LC3 chairman of Bukyambi Sub-county, endorsed Nakiyi, praising his commitment to addressing the constant demands of the electorate. Magomu highlighted Nakiyi’s effective mobilization of his agents, which he believes gives him an advantage over his opponents.
Francis Masanga, the NRM Secretary for the sub-county and LC2 chairman of Bukama Parish, described Nakiyi as a unique leader. He expressed confidence that the NRM would, this time, entrust their support to a true mobilizer, calling Nakiyi a “God-given leader.”
John Woniaka, an elder from Zesui Sub-county, also endorsed Nakiyi, stating that his track record reflects strong leadership. He urged fellow elders to rally behind Nakiyi and vote for him.
Nakiyi is set to face former MP Woboya Vincent and John Kiwungulo in the race for the NRM flag.
