Former Gabonese president Ali Bongo Ondimba and his entire family arrived in the Angolan capital, Luanda to begin their life in exile.
Bongo was overthrown two years ago by his cousin Gen. Brice Oligui Nguema who placed him and his entire family under house arrest.
It is said the release of Bongo, his wife and their son came after an agreement between Angolan President Joao Lourenco and Gen. Brice Oligui Nguema.
Nguema agreed to release them on condition that they left the country.
